XPS Foam Features


XPS (extruded polystyrene) foam is a closed-cell rigid insulation material made of fully recyclable materials. It is currently the most popular insulation core material in the fields of construction, vehicles, etc.

  • Good thermal insulation performance: Due to its special closed-cell structure, XPS foam does not conduct heat. When XPS boards are used as wall panels or floors, they can effectively prevent heat loss.
  • High compressive strength: XPS has a high hardness, strong compressive resistance, and is not easy to deform under heavy pressure.
  • Good waterproof performance: As a foamed closed-cell foam, XPS does not absorb water and will not rot even if soaked in water for a long time.
  • Stable structure: The structure itself is very stable and will not deform within the temperature range of -20~70℃.
