Fiberglass PU foam sandwich panels are a kind of composite material, also called “PU sandwich panel”, a kind of excellent heat insulation material, we are an outstanding manufacturer of refrigerator panels. The skin consists of a fiberglass (FRP) sheet on both sides, and the sandwich skin is PU foam. The skin consists of a fiberglass (FRP) sheet on both sides and PU foam in the center. It is a popular insulating material, mainly used for refrigerated truck and trailer bodies: a width of up to 3.2 meters and, a length of up to 12 meters.
The thermal insulation of the PU foam panels is excellent. Currently, there is no better choice for the insulation panel for trucks. We use embedded structures with fiberglass, high-strength steel or aluminium tubes for enhanced stability. We are the most professional manufacturer of FRP skin PU foam panels.
Customized production: specializing in body production for trucks and trailers, length width, and thickness can be customized. As well as reefer body modification, we have more than 20 kinds of kit options, covering design, production, testing, warehousing and other services.

Product Description:

Carbody, as a premium truck body supplier, specializes in producing high-quality FRP PU panels for trucks.
Polyurethane is a high-quality insulation material. Usually, it is chosen as insulation material for refrigerated trucks, with thicknesses from 20 to 120mm (customizable). The advantage of using FRP for Skin is that it can improve its compression resistance and stability, it is not easy to deform, more robust, and it can also be used with CFRT. This makes it a high-strength, flex-resistant, high-performance composite panel. In a -40 ° C to 100 ° C environment can work normally, will not be deformed, can be very good at preventing heat conduction, and is a lightweight material, in the heat preservation and moisture above the performance is outstanding. Compared with traditional aluminium and colour steel panels, it has better thermal insulation performance.
PU sandwich panels can be used to produce front doors, side panels, bottom panels, and top panels of truck bodies. The structure is made of high-strength steel, which increases stability and does not shake during high-speed driving. And there are more than 15 kinds of interior and exterior kit options. To enhance the sealing and waterproofing, we use XPS foam to fill the outside of the sandwich panels. Prevent moisture penetration. We use high-precision imported CNC machining equipment and use high-speed steel (HSS). We use vacuum compression technology to mould the resin and fibre materials in a vacuum environment, which can eliminate air bubbles and uneven areas.

Characteristics:

The following are our characteristics.

Our fiberglass PU panels have many advantages and features. Although there are many manufacturers who produce this product like us, we are able to make more customers choose our products anyway. This is because we have added more process improvements to our products and use different product design solutions for different environments and insulation effects.

  • Extremely high thermal conductivity of PU foam, 0.017-0.033 W/m-K.
  • High yield rate due to vacuum compression technology
  • FRP skin is UV-resistant, corrosion-resistant and high-strength.
  • Suitable for long-distance intercontinental transportation.
  • Use of embedded structures: aluminium tubes, steel tubes, wood
  • Customizable PU foam density, 28-50 kg/m³.
