    Design and Manufacturing

    Refrigerated box trucks are constructed using a composite sandwich panel structure. This structure consists of a fiberglass anti-corrosion outer layer and an inner layer of thermal insulation foam core material such as XPS (extruded polystyrene) or PU (polyurethane).

    • The FRP surface has been waterproofed using a gel coating.
    • The core material is closed-cell rigid, low thermal conductivity insulation foam, which can be XPS (extruded polystyrene), PU (polyurethane), or PVC (polyethylene).
    • FRP and foam core are bonded with low-temperature resistant glue and compounded in a vacuum environment.
